A Reiki treatment feels like a wonderful glowing radiance that flows through and around the client. Like an energetic massage, clearing out stuck energy (or knots) and leaving you feeling refreshed, relaxed and rejuvenated.
Reiki works with the highest intentions and treats the whole person, emotionally, energetically and physically, creating many beneficial results that include feelings of peace, security and well-being.
The most successful clients are open to receiving Reiki energy, which flows where it is needed most. A session will be most effective when a client has a desire to heal. It can be helpful to come to the session with an intention, though this is not required, as Reiki energy will flow where it is needed most. One does not need to believe in Reiki for the session to be successful. The intent to heal is enough to allow Reiki to flow to the areas most in need of healing.
SESSION FORMAT
Each session is unique, and the most common sensation is a feeling of deep relaxation. During the session, you may become more aware of sensations in your body, such as warmth, coolness, or gentle movements of energy. Some people report seeing colors or experiencing emotional releases. It's not uncommon to gain a deeper understanding of personal challenges or experiences.
Each session is 1 hour via video. We’ll begin with a check-in to understand where you are in this moment and identity any areas of focus. During the session, Allison will tune into your energy. Each session is unique and we may weave in breath work, visualization or embodiment practices to release stuck energy. After the session, we will debrief.
PREPARATION
Find a quiet space where you can lie down, undisturbed for 1 hour. You will lie down and make yourself comfortable in a space clear of clutter.
Word to the wise: light a candle, burn incense and support your body with pillows cover your eyes.
POST SESSION CARE
After your session, take your time integrating the experience. Drink plenty of water, avoid alcohol and give yourself space to keep your energy inward.
